Tracy McLaughlin had been interested in skincare and makeup at a young age and had been a makeup artist for about ten years before she found her way to Â鶹ԭ´´ in Ipswich and enrolled in our aesthetics course.

Tracy says of her choice to attend Â鶹ԭ´´, “Attending Â鶹ԭ´´ was one of the best choices I have made for myself. As a makeup artist of over 10 years I was looking to add more to my services and gain a deep understanding of the skin. The small class size and extensive hands on time made going back to school fun and easy.” Tracy graduated from the program in 2015.

Tracy currently manages the spa side of Serenity in the City in Medford which is a full service salon and spa. She also does freelance makeup artistry. Tracy enjoys working the business side of the spa industry and comments: “I would like to continue growing as a makeup artist and aesthetician by taking more classes and learning more about how to run a successful spa.”

Tracy’s teacher while in school, Sue Leveille, commented on her as a student. “Tracy was always up for a challenge. She loved applying makeup and the different looks you can get from different applications. She was always centered and present while in class which added to her success.”

Tracy gives prospective students advice by saying, “fully immerse yourself in the experience and have fun! Your clients can tell when you love what you do.” Tracy also comments on the industry. “I love how the field is always changing with new services and products to offer.”
